BON 9 mu <br />The letter of Mr. John Berndt, Community Development <br />Administrator with the North Carolina Department of Natural Resources and <br />Community Development, dated November 2, 1979, addressed to Chairman Harmon <br />pertaining to subdivision plat review procedures was read to the Board. The letter <br />outlined options available to the Board in securing staff assistants for review of plats. <br />No action was taken at this meeting. <br />The members of the Board were reminded of the Christmas <br />Parade in Sanford on November 26, 1979 and in Broadway on December 3, 1979. <br />The Board directed that Christmas baskets be presented to the <br />County employees in keeping with the program carried out last year. <br />The Board was reminded that there would be a meeting at 6:30 p. m. <br />on December 13, 1979, at Mike's Restaurant on Wicker Street, Sanford, to discuss <br />with representatives of the Board of Aldermen of the City of Sanford, the Health <br />Department and local land developers, about alternative measures for sewerage <br />disposal. <br />The Maintenance Department has invited the Commissioners to a <br />luncheon on Friday, December 21, 1979, at twelve o'clock noon. <br />The Board noted that under the Personnel resolution, a two day <br />holiday would be observed for Thanksgiving and a three day holiday for Christmas. <br />There being no further business to come o. the session, it <br />was adjourned sine die. /J <br />CHAIRMAN <br />CLERK <br />
