<br />RESOLUTION OF BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
<br />OF
<br />LEE COUNTY
<br />(17.88 Acres Tract)
<br />WHEREAS, Charles M. Reeves, Jr. and his wife, Sarah C. Reeves,
<br />have hereto owned a tract of land in West Sanford Township, Lee County,
<br />North Carolina, containing 17.88 acres according to a plat entitled
<br />"Survey for C. M. Reeves, Jr., West Sanford Township, Lee County,
<br />North Carolina", dated December 12, 1979, by Robert J. Bracken, Registered
<br />Land Surveyor, which plat is recorded in Plat Cabinet 1, at page 294,
<br />Lee County Registry, and
<br />WHEREAS, said land has been formally appraised by W. Scott Swindell,
<br />a realtor duly licensed by the State of North Carolina, at its highest
<br />and best use as Office and Institutional and/or Private or Public
<br />Recreation; and /
<br />WHEREAS, the said Charles M. Reeves, Jr. and wife, Sarah C. Reeves /
<br />have tendered said lands by deed of gift to the County of Lee; and
<br />WHEREAS, the County of Lee now desires to formally acknowledge delivery
<br />and acceptance of said deed of gift; and
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Commissioners of Lee
<br />County do hereby accept the deed of gift from Charles M. Reeves, Jr. and
<br />wife Sarah C. Reeves, to the County of Lee, which said deed of gift conveys
<br />to said County of Lee in fee simple, free from encumbrances, a
<br />certain tract of land located in West Sanford Township, Lee County,
<br />North Carolina, containing 17.88 acres according to plat entitled "Survey
<br />for C. M. Reeves, Jr., West Sanford Township, Lee County, North Carolina",
<br />dated December 12, 1979, by Robert J. Bracken, Registered Land Surveyor,
<br />which plat is recorded in Plat Cabinet 1, at page 294, Lee County Registry.
<br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Board of Commissioners of Lee County
<br />hereby expresses to Mr. and Mrs Charles M. Reeves, Jr. its grateful appreciation
<br />for said gift.
