BK - 00025 PG <br />Finance Director Lisa Minter presented the Monthly Financial Report for month ending April <br />2013. No action was taken. <br />County Manager John Crumpton presented the May 2013 County Manager's Report to the <br />Board. Before his report, Mr. Crumpton introduced Mr. Shakeel Harris who will be working for five - <br />weeks as an intern to learn more about county government. Mr. Crumpton discussed his Monthly <br />Report, a copy of which is attached to these Minutes and by this reference made a part hereof. Various <br />changes were made to the budget work session dates to accommodate some of the Commissioners. <br />No action was taken. <br />Commissioner Reives moved to approve the summer meeting schedule of 6 p.m., July 15 6 <br />p.m., August 19 and 6 p.m., September 16 Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Dalrymple, Frazier, Knecht, Parks, Reives, Smith, and Womack <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Commissioner Smith moved to go into closed session to discuss matters relating to the location <br />or expansion of a business in the area per North Carolina General Statute 143- 318.11(a)(4), and to <br />consult with the County Attorney to protect the attorney - client privilege per North Carolina General <br />Statute 143- 318.11(a)(3). Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Dalrymple, Frazier, Knecht, Parks, Reives, Smith, and Womack <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously and the Board was in closed <br />session. Upon returning from closed session, with all members present, the regular meeting resumed. <br />With no further business to come before the Board, Commissioner Womack moved to adjourn <br />the meeting. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Dalrymple, Frazier, Knecht, Parks, Reives, Smith, and Womack <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously and the meeting adjourned at <br />8:30 p.m. <br />Charles T.
