An independent statistical review will be performed to check all <br />properties for acceptable value distributions within their neighborhoods, in <br />comparison to contiguous neighborhoods, and to the county overall. This <br />process is designed to ensure benchmarks required by General Statute <br />105-284 (Machinery Act) stipulating the "Uniform assessment standard" <br />of valuing real property at its true value or use value. <br />3. Training. All County personnel will be trained on the application of <br />valuation methodologies, the use of the Schedule of Values, and methods <br />of providing explanation to the public about the revaluation procedure. <br />D. Reporting <br />1. Prepare and present Schedule of Values. Contractor shall publish the <br />Schedule of Values and all pertinent attachments, and present it to the <br />Board of Commissioners for review and approval. Contractor will make <br />itself available for questions from and to provide assistance to the Board <br />as requested. <br />ARTICLE 11 <br />TIME OF COMPLETION <br />Work to be performed under this contract shall be commenced immediately, and <br />completed as provided in the attached specifications (see graphical timeline at <br />Attachment A). The term of this Contract will be considered completed at the approval of <br />the Schedule of Values by the Board of Commissioners. <br />
