Ms. Whitt <br />also updated the Board on program updates for the Sandhills Ce No action was taken. <br />' <br />Senior Services Director Debbie Davidson updated the Boar cent sequestration cuts to <br />the Home and Community Care Block Grant for Senior Services whic7((400%1o) nts to $12,305.00 through <br />the federal fiscal year ending September 3 13. Forty perce or $4,922.00 must be <br />decreased by June 30, 2013 and an additional must be decreased from July 1 to September <br />30, 2013. The Administration on Aging sta t t come from the five funding acts <br />designated in the Older American's Act. The N D' ion ging and Adult Services are absorbing <br />the Family Caregiver and Health Promotion decr a within their budget. The remaining Lee County <br />40% cut is as follows: <br />IIIB r $1,986.00 <br />IIIC Congregate $2,165.00 <br />UJ_ Homes Delivery $ 771.00 <br />Ms. Davidson stated Senior ices will absorb these cuts by reducing the Home Repair Ramp <br />Service by $1,986.00 and the to Meal Site and Home Delivered Meal Services by closing the <br />meal site on esdays beginni ay 15 through June 30. The remaining 60 %, or $7,383, will be <br />cut in the r through S ptember 30, 2013.
