BK - 00025 PG:0494 <br />LE E CCU N I TY <br />Committed Today for a Better Tomorrow <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />OF THE <br />LEE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />106 HILLCREST DRIVE <br />SANFORD, NORTH CAROLINA 27330 <br />APRIL 15, 2013 <br />The regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners for the County of Lee, State of <br />North Carolina, convened at 4:30 p.m., in the Commissioners' Room, Lee County Government <br />Center, 106 Hillcrest Drive, Sanford, North Carolina, on said date. Commissioners present <br />were Amy M. Dalrymple, Dr. Ricky D. Frazier, Charles T. Parks, Robert T. Reives, Kirk D. <br />Smith, and James K. Womack. Commissioner Dr. Andre Knecht was not present at the <br />beginning of the meeting but did join the meeting later. <br />Chairman Parks called the meeting to order. <br />Commissioner Dalrymple delivered the invocation. <br />The pledge of allegiance was recited. <br />The Board considered additions /changes to the Agenda. Commissioner Parks asked <br />the Board to add to the agenda the appointment of a Chairman for the Board of Equalization <br />and Review. Commissioner Reives asked the Board to approve, on the Consent Agenda, a <br />Resolution honoring Mr. and Mrs. Beady Waddell for their service to the Blandonia Child <br />Development Center. Commissioner Dalrymple asked the Board to consider an additional <br />appointee to the Johnston - Lee - Harnett Community Action Board. With no other changes <br />made, Commissioner Womack moved to approve the Agenda as amended. Upon a vote, the <br />results were as follows: <br />Aye: Dalrymple, Frazier, Parks, Reives, Smith, and Womack <br />Nay: None <br />Absent: Knecht <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Commissioner Reives read the resolution honoring Mr. and Mrs. Beady Waddell, a copy <br />of which is attached to these Minutes and by this reference made a part hereof. <br />
