0 0 <br />BOOK 21 ME 649 <br />LEE, O0~ F= f <br />Committed Today for a Better Tomorrow <br />MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING <br />OF THE <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />FOR THE <br />COUNTY OF LEE, STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA <br />JULY 9, 2007 <br />The special meeting of the Board of Commissioners for the County of Lee, <br />State of North Carolina, convened at 4:00 p.m. on said date in the <br />Commissioners' Room, Lee County Government Center, 106 Hillcrest Drive, <br />Sanford, North Carolina. Commissioners present were Robert H. Brown, James <br />C. Kelly, Jerry M. Lemmond, Nathan E. Paschal, Robert T. Reives, Linda A. <br />Shook, and Kirk D. Smith. <br />Chairman Brown presided and the following business was transacted: <br />County Attorney K. R. Hoyle delivered the invocation. <br />The pledge of allegiance was recited. <br />The Board considered additions to the agenda. Chairman Brown asked <br />the Board to discuss how they wished to handle applications for the Tax <br />Administrator position. Commissioner Lemmond moved to approve the addition <br />of this item to the agenda. Commissioner Reives seconded the motion. Upon a <br />vote. the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Brown, Kelly, Lemmond, Paschal, Reives, Shook, and Smith <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Commissioner Kelly moved to approve the agenda as amended. Upon a <br />vote. the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Brown, Kelly, Lemmond, Paschal, Reives, Shook, and Smith <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />
