Commissioner Kelly moved to put $86,543 back in <br />the FY 2007-08 budget for the EDC Office. Upon a vote, the results were as <br />follows: <br />Aye: Brown and Kelly <br />Nay: Reives <br />Chairman Reives moved the motion had been adopted by a two to one <br />vote. <br />Reductions- <br />• Reduce Lee County School's current expense appropriation by <br />$67,303; <br />• Reduce Health Department vehicle appropriation by $30,000; <br />• Reduce Jail salaries by $5,918 for Pay for Performance adjustment <br />(when the budget was prepared, HR had not completed the review <br />of pay for performance agreements); <br />• Reduce Sandhills Mental Health appropriation by $2,000; <br />• Reduce IT Department budget by $50,625 to remove IT Support <br />Analyst position originally recommended; and <br />• Remove Pay for Performance funding - $31,620. <br />Commissioner Kelly moved to approve the above reductions from the FY <br />2007-08 budget. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Brown, Kelly, and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />Chairman Reives moved the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Revenue Increases: <br />• Increase Fund Balance appropriated by $28,840 for vehicle for the <br />Crime Scene Investigator position. <br />After some discussion, Interim County Manager Lisa Minter was asked to <br />bring a recommendation to the full Board on how to fund the vehicle for the <br />Crime Scene Investigator position and funding for the EDC Office. <br />2 <br />
