BK :00025 PG0406 <br />Donnie Oldham, Chairman of the Lee County Economic Corporation and Bob Joyce, <br />President of the Sanford Chamber of Commerce presented ideas for the creation of a new <br />Economic Development Corporation. Chamber member Brad Simpson, who was unable to <br />attend the conference, provided a written statement expressing his support of the above <br />referenced proposal, a copy of which is attached to these minutes and by this reference made <br />a part hereof. <br />Mr. Parks and Mr. Abernathy will provide to the County Manager, a written summary of <br />discussion points from the meeting. <br />At the conclusion of the meeting, Commissioner Dalrymple moved to adjourn the <br />meeting of the Lee County Board of Commissioners. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Dalrymple, Parks, Smith, and Womack <br />Nay: None <br />Absent: Frazier, Knecht, and Reives <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The City of Sanford adjourned their Board and the Town of Broadway adjourned their <br />Board. <br />The meeting adjourned at 1:45 p.m. <br />/0 <br />M. k Clerk t the Board <br />0 <br />, a ' r'T <br />U A A J, -,,. -,:::) - �)eLj-� <br />Charles T.
