BRITT <br /> REGISTER OF DEEDS <br /> FILED Jan 16, 2025 <br /> AT 12:21:04 pm <br /> BOOK 00004 <br /> START PAGE 0093 <br /> END PAGE 0094 <br /> INSTRUMENT # 00275 <br /> EXCISE TAX (None) <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP <br /> OF THE LEE COUNTY, NORTH CAROLINA <br /> WHEREAS, a request to amend the Official Zoning Map has been received from Jayson Michel Rivera Chavez <br /> to rezone a 4.93 + acre portion of a vacant 16.66 + acre tract of land with frontage on White Hill Road, <br /> identified as a portion of Lee County Tax Parcel 9529-68-2513-00 as depicted on Tax Map 9529.02, from <br /> Highway Commercial (HQ to Residential Agricultural (RA); and, <br /> WHEREAS, said request has been presented to the Planning Board of Lee County; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Lee County Board of Commissioners conducted a public hearing on November 18, 2024 to <br /> receive citizen input on the requested zoning map amendment; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Lee County Board of Commissioners approves the request to amend the Official Zoning Map <br /> of Lee County; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS: <br /> The Official Zoning Map is hereby amended to rezone a 4.93 + acre portion of a vacant 16.66 + acre tract of <br /> land with frontage on White Hill Rd, identified as a portion of Lee Co. Tax Parcel 9529-68-2513-00 as depicted <br /> on Tax Map 9529.02, from Highway Commercial (HQ to Residential Agricultural (RA). See Exhibit A. <br /> In making this decision, the Lee County Board of Commissioners hereby determined that the request was <br /> consistent with the Plan SanLee long range plan designation of Countryside because RA is the primary current <br /> zoning district and residential & working lands are allowable land uses. It is reasonable and in the public interest <br /> since the rezoning site is located at the rear of a parcel that already has RA zoning along the front and the <br /> majority of the land uses in the area are residential or agricultural. <br /> ADOPTED this the 2nd day of D ce b 024. <br /> Y ► k D.
