WHEREAS, Wai Hung Ng submitted a qualifying upset bid in the amount of 512,000.00 <br /> on February 6, 2024, and the clerk advertised the second upset bid in The Sanford Herald on <br /> February 17, 2024, and. <br /> WHEREAS, Jamie Campbell submitted a qualifying upset bid in the amount of <br /> $151,000.00 on February 21, 2024, and the clerk advertised the third upset bid in The Sanford <br /> Herald on March 2, 2024; and, <br /> WHEREAS, Wai Hung Ng submitted a qua]ifying upset bid in the amount of$16,000.00 <br /> on March 12, 2024. and the clerk advertised the fourth upset bid in The Sanford Herald on <br /> March 16, 2024; and, <br /> WHEREAS, after the fourth upset bid was advertised, no further upset bids were received <br /> and the offer of$16,000.00 submitted by Wai Hung Ng is the final and highest bid received. A <br /> copy of this offer is attached hereto. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Lee County Board of Commissioners <br /> as follows: <br /> 1. The Lee County Board of Conunissioners hereby accepts the offer of S 16.000.00 from <br /> Wai Hung Ng for the purchase of 573 Sharpe Road. <br /> 2. The terms of the final sale areas follows: <br /> a. The Buyer must pay with cash, cashier's check or certified check at the <br /> time of closing. The Buyer pays the recording fee. <br /> b. The property is sold "as is-' with no conditions placed on the bid. <br /> C. Title to the subject property shall be transferred to the buyer by a Non- <br /> Warranty deed. <br /> d. Advertising fees are non-refundable once spent. The Buyer must pay all <br /> advertising fees over 5200.00. <br /> e. The County Attorney does not perform title searches on the property and <br /> the Offeror can retain and is encouraged to retain their mA n attorney to <br /> perform such title search. <br /> f. The Buver takes the property subject to any easements, encroaclunents, <br /> encumbrances, environmental conditions, title issues, boundary issues, <br /> restrictive covenants or other property conditions known or unknown. <br /> 3.
