AO& <br />BOOK 22 PAGE 511 <br />Assistant Community Development Director Marshall Downey outlined the first rezoning <br />petition submitted by Mr. Bobby Branch to rezone 6.35 ± acres of land located at 2122 Boone <br />Trail Road (US Hwy. 421 North) from Residential Restricted (RR) district to Light Industrial (LI) <br />district. <br />Chairman Brown opened the public hearing. <br />The following spoke in favor of the rezoning request: <br />• Mr. Kenneth Bright, 1920 Phillips Drive, Sanford (representing Mr. Bobby <br />Branch) <br />No one present spoke in opposition to the rezoning request. <br />Chairman Brown closed the public hearing. <br />Mr. Downey outlined the rezoning petition submitted by Ms. Faye Baker to rezone 4.30 t <br />acres of land located on Valley Road beginning at a point 278 ± feet southwest of the <br />intersection of Valley Road and Forestwood Park Road from Residential Restricted (RR) district <br />to Residential Agricultural (RA) district. <br />Chairman Brown opened the public hearing. <br />The following spoke in favor of the rezoning request: <br />• Ms. Faye Baker, 3068 Valley Road, Sanford <br />No one present spoke in opposition to the rezoning request. <br />Chairman Brown closed the public hearing. <br />With no further business to come before the Board, Commissioner Lemmond moved to <br />adjourn the meeting. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Brown, Lemmond, Quiggle, and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />Absent: Kelly, Paschal, and Shook <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously and the meeting <br />adjourned at 7:15 p.m. <br />obert H.
