® nv mu 7480 Upon motion of Commissioner Lila P. Nielsen, duly seconded by Commissioner Clyde J. Rhyne, which motion was unanimously adopted upon a vote, it was RESOLVED to appoint Mrs. Beatrice Fields to the County Personnel Committee. Upon motion of Commissioner Jack D. Funderburke, duly seconded by Commissioner Clyde J. Rhyne, which motion was unanimously adopted upon a vote, it was RESOLVED to appoint Mr. Gordon Harrington and Mr. C. H. Cox to the Lee County Board of Adjustment. There was a discussion about the appointment of a delegate to the annual meeting of the North Carolina Association of County Commissioners, but it was decided to defer consideration of this matter until the next meeting. Upon request of Commissioner Lila P. Nielsen, the Board granted authority for the Social Services Board to hold its meeting in the Commissioners room on July 29, 1980. Commissioner Gordon A. Wicker moved that a committee of three people be appointed to assist the Tax Supervisor in valuing industrial property. There was no second and the Chair moved that the motion died for lack of a second. There being no further business to come before the session, it was adjourned.
