. 0 ® COOK 9 P~'E iv-0 COUNTY OF LEE, NORTH CAROLINA LEE COUNTY PARKS AND RECREATION HORTON PARK RENOVATION AMENDMENT OF 1980 - 81 BUDGET Project No. 37-00655 Be it ordained by the Lee County Board of Comm- issioners to amend the fiscal year 1980-81 Recreation Budget to reflect the expenditures and revenues not completed for the Horton Park pool during the fiscal year 1979-80: EXPENDITURES: Code Purpose Appropriation 45-400-90 Architectural/Eng. -Horton Park $ 700 45-400-91 Construction-Horton Park 75,865 45-400-91 A Bath House Renovation & Fencing- Horton Park 7,475 45-400-92 Contingency - Horton Park 3,798 $ 87,838 REVENUE: Code Revenue Source Amount 45-299-00 Fund Balance $ 42,200 45-397-01 N. C. Bureau of Outdoor Recreation 45,638 $87,838 Commissioner Jack D. Funderburke seconded the motion and upon a vote it was unanimously adopted. Mr. Elwin J. Buchanan, Grants Director, reported that the rating standards for determining which citizens fall in the classification of poor have been recently revised and much of the preliminary work done on the Deep River School water line project will have to be done over. Mr. Elwin J. Buchanan, Grants Director, reported to the Board that the grant for improvements to the dam at San-Lee Recreational and Educational Park had been approved. The request fo the Lee County Department of Social Services for approval of its action in granting educational leave for Ms. Kathy Bryant was presented to the Board. After discussion and reveiw of the letter dated October 27, 1980, Comm- issioner Lila P. Nielsen moved the action of Department of Social Services in granting educational leave for Ms. Bryant be approved. Commissioner Jack D. Funderburke seconded the motion and upon a vote, it was unanimously adopted. It was noted for the record that John F. Reynolds, Juvenile-Crime Prevention Officer; William C. Mabe, Jailor; and James Tolliver, Bailiff, had com- pleted their probationary period of employment satisfactorily and were being placed on a permanent status with the Sheriff's Department. Mr. S. F. Westbrooke, Tax Supervisor, reported to the Board that the business personal property listing form heretofore exhibited to the Board had been approved for use in Lee County by the North Carolina Department of Revenue. Mr. S. F. Westbrooke, Tax Supervisor, reported to the Board that a resolution of the Board providing for the installation of a permanent real estate listing system in Lee County had been approved by the North Carolina Department of Revenue.
