Site Improvements - The open space of each property shall provide <br />(a) immediate diversion of water away from buildings and disposal <br />from lot, (b) prevent soil saturation detrimental to structures and <br />lot use, and (c) landscaping. <br />6. Dilapidated or blighted structures - All dilapidated portions of <br />structures proposed for rehabilitation which are not economically <br />repairable shall be removed. All dilapidated accessory structures, <br />fences, and appurtenances shall be removed. <br />7. Site criteria - Structures to be rehabilitated shall be located <br />only on parcels (lots) designated for this use and all projected <br />land use regulations shall be followed. <br />8. Other requirements necessary to meet rehabilitation standards: <br />(See Rehabilitation Standards, Appendix I) <br />A) adequate provisions for heat, including adequate <br />insulation in ceilings and walls, storm windows and doors. <br />B) Fire protection - adequate fire detection equipment. <br />C) Connection to existing sanitary water and sewer system <br />when available. <br />D) Adequate provisions for providing a safe and sound roof. <br />E) Adherance to HUD - Lead-based Paint Poisoning Prevention <br />in certain Residential Structures (item 5 of CDBG Grant Agreement). <br />-4- <br />11/80 <br />
