The owner of the <br />rehabilitated property must agree that the property will not be sold, <br />conveyed, leased or disposed of for a period of five (5) years. If the <br />owner does sell, convey, lease or dispose of the rehabilitated property <br />within the specified time period, the owner shall repay the County a <br />prorated amount based on the following schedule. <br />1st year 100% <br />2nd <br />year <br />SM <br />3rd <br />year <br />60',6 <br />4th <br />year <br />40"'0 <br />5th <br />year <br />20% <br />At the end of five (5) years the lien will terminate. <br />REIILABILITATION PROCEDURES <br />The rehabilitation procedure will be as follows: <br />1. Prospective homeowners will be contacted about applying for a Rehabilitation <br />Grant. The County reserves the right to reject any or all applications. <br />2. Homeowners who qualify for a Rehabilitation Grant will have their structure <br />inspected by a member of the County Building Inspection Department to <br />determine if the structure meets the State and County building codes and <br />Rehabilitation Standards. <br />-2- <br />
