Harmon, Chairman, and successors <br />so titled, is hereby authorized and directed to furnish such <br />information as the appropriate State and Federal agency may <br />request in connection with such application or the project; to <br />made the assurances as contained above; and to execute such <br />other documents as may be required in connection with the <br />application. <br />That the County of Lee has substantially complied or <br />will substantially comply with all Federal, State, and local <br />laws, rules, regulations, and ordinances applicable to the <br />project and hereby authorized the above designated repre- <br />sentative to execute an affidavit so stating. <br />Commissioner John E. Dotterer seconded the motion and upon a vote <br />it was unanimously adopted. <br />The Board next considered the 1981 Pre-Application for a Community <br />Development Block Grant. After the Board had reviewed the Pre-Application, <br />Commissioner John E. Dotterer moved the adoption of the following resolution: <br />WHEREAS, Lee County has prepared a preapplication <br />to the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) <br />for Community Development Block Grant funds, and <br />WHEREAS, said application includes funds to defray <br />the cost of individual taps for the existing structures in the <br />target area, and <br />WHEREAS, the Community Development Block Grant <br />fund is designed to benefit citizens of moderate and low income; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that upon <br />approval of the above-mentioned preapplication from the <br />Department of Housing and Urban Development, tap fees <br />within the delineated area are hereby waived and this reso- <br />lution shall be effective through March 31, 1983. <br />Commissioner Gordon A. Wicker seconded the motion and upon a vote <br />it was unanimously adopted. <br />Commissioner John E. Dotterer then moved the adoption of the <br />following resolution: <br />
