[j100s 9 ,f-; [ 881 RESOLUTION OF THE LEE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS CONCERNING UNIFORM RELOCATION ASSISTANCE AND REAL PROPERTY ACQUISITION POLICY ACT OF 1970 WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners for Lee County has heretofore determined it to be in the public interest to participate in the Community Development Program; and WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners desire to establish standards and policies for relocation assistance and real property acquisition to be followed in those areas delineated in the Community Development Block Grant Program; and WHEREAS, Lee County presently has in operation Community Development Program No. H-80-DN-37-0071 in the San-Lee Heights (Grapevineyard) area; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: 1. That all relocation and real property acquisitions carried out in the aforesaid programs shall comply with Article 2, "Relocation Assistance" of Chapter 133 "Public Works" of the General Statutues of North Carolina, and with Sections 210 and 305 of the Federal Act entitled "The Uniform Relocation Assistance and Real Property Acquisition Policies Act 6f 1970", approved January 2, 1971, (Public Law 91-646, 91st Cong., S.1, 84 Stat.) 2. That all relocation and real property acquisitions carried out in the aforesaid programs shall also conform to the following standards, notwithstanding any provisions set forth in any application, contract, or agreement for the aforesaid programs, namely; (a) That fair and reasonable relocation payments and assistance shall be provided in accordance with Sections 202, 203, and 204 of the Act and applicable HUD regulations 4-11, Chapter 4, Section 1 of the relocation handbook 1371.1 REV. and CFR 570.602(d) to or for families, individuals, partnerships, corporations, or associations displaced as a result of the above mentioned programs.
