[j100s 9 ,f-; [ 881 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE LEE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS CONCERNING <br />UNIFORM RELOCATION ASSISTANCE AND REAL PROPERTY ACQUISITION <br />POLICY ACT OF 1970 <br />WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners for Lee County has heretofore <br />determined it to be in the public interest to participate in the <br />Community Development Program; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners desire to establish standards <br />and policies for relocation assistance and real property acquisition <br />to be followed in those areas delineated in the Community Development <br />Block Grant Program; and <br />WHEREAS, Lee County presently has in operation Community <br />Development Program No. H-80-DN-37-0071 in the San-Lee Heights <br />(Grapevineyard) area; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. That all relocation and real property acquisitions carried <br />out in the aforesaid programs shall comply with Article 2, "Relocation <br />Assistance" of Chapter 133 "Public Works" of the General Statutues of <br />North Carolina, and with Sections 210 and 305 of the Federal Act <br />entitled "The Uniform Relocation Assistance and Real Property <br />Acquisition Policies Act 6f 1970", approved January 2, 1971, (Public <br />Law 91-646, 91st Cong., S.1, 84 Stat.) <br />2. That all relocation and real property acquisitions carried <br />out in the aforesaid programs shall also conform to the following <br />standards, notwithstanding any provisions set forth in any application, <br />contract, or agreement for the aforesaid programs, namely; <br />(a) That fair and reasonable relocation payments and <br />assistance shall be provided in accordance with <br />Sections 202, 203, and 204 of the Act and applicable <br />HUD regulations 4-11, Chapter 4, Section 1 of the <br />relocation handbook 1371.1 REV. and CFR 570.602(d) <br />to or for families, individuals, partnerships, <br />corporations, or associations displaced as a result <br />of the above mentioned programs. <br />
