one 9 ';S 898 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF LEE COUNTY CONCERNING <br />ACCEPTANCE OF THE GRANT FOR THE LEE COUNTY INDUSTRIAL PARK-WILLIAM H. <br />RORER WATER AND SEWER IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT "04-01-03004.40 <br />WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners of Lee County have <br />determined i.t to be to the best interest of the citizens of Lee <br />county to provide for the design and construction of sanitary sewers <br />and a waterline for the Lee.County Industrial Park, and a waterline <br />to an adjacent industrial site to be occupied by the William H. <br />Rorer Company; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Sanford has agreed to accept, when <br />completed, this water and sewer line.project as a part of the city ' <br />water and sewer system; and <br />WHEREAS, Lee County has applied to the Economic Development <br />Administration (EDA) for a program grant to assist in the <br />implementation of the Lee County Industrial. Park-William H. Rorer <br />water and sewer line project '04-01-03004.40,- and <br />WHEREAS, the Economic Development Administration (EDA) <br />S has offered a grant through the Governor of North Carolina, <br />of one hundred Thousand dollars ($100,000) from the 304 funds <br />matched with thirty thousand dollars ($30,000) State Community <br />Development Grant funds (Eva Clayton funds); fifty-two thousand, <br />nine-bundred thirty dollars ($52,930) N.C. Clean Water & Sewer Bonds; <br />and ninety thousand, seven hundred seventy dollars (S90,770) of <br />local funds; <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners <br />of Lee County to accept the grant offer of one hundred thousand <br />dollars ($100,000) of the EDA 304 funds; and authorize the <br />Chairman, K.S.
