- goo,K lO ~r,c~ 5~ <br />The County Manager, Walter B. Hartman, Jr. , presented for the <br />Board's consideration, a budget amendment entitled "Appropriation Adjustment <br />No. 810202". Commissioner John E. Dotterer moved that the budget amendment <br />entitled "Appropriation Adjustment No. 81020211, a copy of which is attached to <br />these minutes and by this reference made a part hereof, be approved and adopted. <br />Commissioner Jack D. Funderburke seconded the motion and upon a roll call vote, <br />Commissioners Dotterer, Funderburke, Wicker and Harmon voted for it and no <br />one voted against it. <br />The Board next considered the Budget Amendment No. 16 of the <br />Capital Outlay Fund for the Lee County Board of Education, which amendment had <br />been adopted by the Board of Education on the 9th day of February, 1981. Comm- <br />issioner Jack D. Funderburke moved that the Budget Amendment No. 16 to the <br />Capital Outlay Fund as requested by the Board of Education, a copy of which is <br />attached to these minutes and by this reference made a part hereof, be approved <br />and adopted. Commissioner John E. Dotterer seconded the motion and upon a roll call <br />vote, Commissioners Dotterer, Funderburke, Wicker and Harmon voted for it and <br />no one voted against it. <br />The Chairman reported that Mrs. Cathy W. Bridges had requested <br />that she be relieved of her appointment to the Nursing Home Community Advisory <br />Committee and that Mrs. Helen H. Collins had been nominated to replace Mrs. <br />Bridges on said Board. Commissioner John E. Dotterer moved that Mrs. Helen H. <br />Collins be appointed to the Nursing Home Community Advisory Committee for a term <br />of one year. Commissioner Jack D. Funderburke seconded the motion and upon a vote <br />it was unanimously adopted. <br />The Chairman called the Board's attention to the fact that the appoint- <br />ment of Rev. Bewey M. Shaver to the Nursing Home Community Advisory Committee <br />had expired. Commissioner John E. Dotterer moved that the Rev. Bewey M. Shaver <br />be appointed to the Nursing Home Community Advisory Committee for a term of three <br />years. Commissioner Jack D. Funderburke seconded the motion and upon a vote it <br />was unanimously adopted. <br />The Board next recognized Mr. Elwin J. Buchanan, Grants Director, <br />and Mr: Charles Oldham, who presented a report on the 208 Water Quality Management <br />Plan, as developed by the Triangle J Council of Government. <br />The County Manager brought up for discussion the lack of office <br />space at the Courthouse and a recommendation that the Board of Elections be re-located. <br />The Board did not take any formal action; however, several members indicated they did <br />not desire to re-locate the Board of Elections at this time. <br />
