_ ~ is 53 3~Otl MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS FOR THE COUNTY OF LEE, NORTH CAROLINA Monday, February 16, 1981 The regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners for the County of Lee, State of North Carolina, convened in the Commissioner's Room on the second floor of the County Office Building, 200 Wicker Street, Sanford, North Carolina, at 7:00. o'clock p, m. Those present were Commissioners John E. Dotterer, Jack D,Funder- burke, K. S. Harmon and Gordon A. Wicker. Commissioner Lila P. Nielsen was absent. Chairman K. S. Harmon presided and the following business was transacted: County Attorney K. R. Hoyle opened the meeting with a prayer. The minutes of the regular meeting held on Monday, February 2, 1981, were approved and ordered recorded upon motion of Commissioner Gordon A. Wicker, seconded by Commissioner Jack D. Funderburke, which motion was unani- mously adopted upon a vote. The petition of the residents of Quail Ridge Subdivision for the Depart- ment of Transportation to add the roads in that subdivision to the state system of secondary roads. Commissioner John E. Dotterer moved the adoption of the resolution entitled ''Request for Addition to State Maintained Secondary Road System'', a copy of which is attached to these minutes and by this reference made a part hereof. Comm- issioner Jack D. Funderburke seconded the motion and upon a vote, it was unanimously adopted. Mr. Leonard Barefoot, Planner, appeared before the Board on behalf of the Planning Board and presented for consideration the final plat for the B. W. Wicker Subdivision on Secondary Road No. 1303. Commissioner Gordon A. Wicker moved that the final plat be approved and the Chairman authorized to execute a certificate to that effect. Commissioner John E. Dotterer seconded the motion and upon a vote it was unanimously adopted. Mr. Barefoot next presented for consideration a plat of the John Clark Subdivision on the Amos Bridges Road from U. S. Highway No. 1 to Colon. Commissioner Jack D. Funderburke moved that the final plat be approved and the Chairman authorized to execute a certificate to that effect. Commissioner John E. Dotterer seconded the motion and upon a vote it was unanimously adopted.
