_ ~ is 53 <br />3~Otl <br />MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF <br />THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS FOR THE <br />COUNTY OF LEE, NORTH CAROLINA <br />Monday, February 16, 1981 <br />The regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners for the County of <br />Lee, State of North Carolina, convened in the Commissioner's Room on the second floor <br />of the County Office Building, 200 Wicker Street, Sanford, North Carolina, at 7:00. <br />o'clock p, m. Those present were Commissioners John E. Dotterer, Jack D,Funder- <br />burke, K. S. Harmon and Gordon A. Wicker. Commissioner Lila P. Nielsen was <br />absent. Chairman K. S. Harmon presided and the following business was transacted: <br />County Attorney K. R. Hoyle opened the meeting with a prayer. <br />The minutes of the regular meeting held on Monday, February 2, <br />1981, were approved and ordered recorded upon motion of Commissioner Gordon A. <br />Wicker, seconded by Commissioner Jack D. Funderburke, which motion was unani- <br />mously adopted upon a vote. <br />The petition of the residents of Quail Ridge Subdivision for the Depart- <br />ment of Transportation to add the roads in that subdivision to the state system of <br />secondary roads. Commissioner John E. Dotterer moved the adoption of the resolution <br />entitled ''Request for Addition to State Maintained Secondary Road System'', a copy of <br />which is attached to these minutes and by this reference made a part hereof. Comm- <br />issioner Jack D. Funderburke seconded the motion and upon a vote, it was unanimously <br />adopted. <br />Mr. Leonard Barefoot, Planner, appeared before the Board on behalf <br />of the Planning Board and presented for consideration the final plat for the B. W. Wicker <br />Subdivision on Secondary Road No. 1303. Commissioner Gordon A. Wicker moved that <br />the final plat be approved and the Chairman authorized to execute a certificate to that <br />effect. Commissioner John E. Dotterer seconded the motion and upon a vote it was <br />unanimously adopted. <br />Mr. Barefoot next presented for consideration a plat of the John Clark <br />Subdivision on the Amos Bridges Road from U. S. Highway No. 1 to Colon. Commissioner <br />Jack D. Funderburke moved that the final plat be approved and the Chairman authorized <br />to execute a certificate to that effect. Commissioner John E. Dotterer seconded the <br />motion and upon a vote it was unanimously adopted. <br />
