At this time, the Board took a 5- minute recess. Upon returning from recess, with all members <br />present except Commissioners' Reives and Womack, the meeting resumed. <br />Finance Director /Assistant County Manager Lisa Minter presented the Monthly Financial Report <br />for month ending December 2012. No action was taken. <br />The Board considered the FY 2013 -14 Budget Calendar. Finance Director Lisa Minter <br />presented a Budget Calendar that serves as a guideline for the upcoming budget process. The <br />calendar is not a firm calendar and is subject to change especially with regard to budget work sessions <br />that the Board of Commissioners would like to hold. It was noted that the March 8 h Budget Kick -off <br />Session would be rescheduled for March 15 Commissioner Frazier moved to approve the FY 2013 -14 <br />Budget Procedure Calendar as amended, a copy of which is attached to these minutes and by this <br />reference made a part hereof. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Dalrymple, Frazier, Knecht, Parks, and Smith <br />Nay: None <br />Absent: Reives and Womack <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />County Manager John Crumpton presented his Monthly Report for the month of January 2013, <br />a copy of which is attached to these minutes and by this reference made a part hereof. No action was <br />taken. <br />County Manager John Crumpton discussed current agreements with the City of Sanford. No <br />action was taken but these matters will be discussed during the upcoming January 29 joint meeting <br />between the Sanford City Council and Lee County Board of Commissioners scheduled for 6 p.m., at the <br />McSwain Agriculture Center. <br />County Manager John Crumpton recognized Tax Administrator Mary Yow for receiving the <br />County Assessors Designation with the State. <br />Commissioner Knecht asked that in the future all budget items be listed under New Business <br />instead of the Consent Agenda. <br />With no further business to come before the Board, Commissioner Frazier moved to adjourn the <br />meeting. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Dalrymple, Frazier, Knecht, Parks, and Smith <br />Nay: None <br />Absent: Reives and Womack <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously and the meeting adjourned at <br />8:03 p.m. <br />Charles T.
