Bulky waste <br />No owner, occupant, tenant or lessee of a building or dwelling, other than a licensed junk dealer, <br />may place or leave, or cause to be placed or left, outside the building or dwelling any bulky waste <br />for longer than 72 hours. <br />Section 9. Abandonment of receptacles with airtight doors <br />No owner, occupant, tenant or lessee of any building or dwelling may leave outside the building or <br />dwelling, in a place accessible to children, any abandoned or unattended icebox, refrigerator or <br />other receptacle that has an airtight door without first removing the door. <br />ARTICLE III: COLLECTION OF SOLID WASTE <br />Section 10. Authorized collection services <br />Only the solid waste collection services and facilities hereinafter specified are authorized to be <br />provided and used for the collection of solid waste generated on or within premises subject to this <br />chapter. The provision or use of collection services not authorized herein is a violation of this <br />chapter. <br />Section 11. Owner or occupant solid waste collection <br />The owner or occupant of premises within the territorial jurisdiction of this article may collect solid <br />waste and/or recyclables generated on such person's own premises and transport the same to an <br />authorized county or private solid waste collection or disposal facility. Such collection is not <br />subject to permit or license requirements or other restrictions to which commercial solid waste <br />collectors are subject, provided that such solid waste is transported by a means and in a manner <br />that solid waste or recyclables do not leave the transporting vehicle, a violation of such provision <br />is a violation of this chapter. <br />Section 12. County solid waste collection facilities <br />The county shall establish and maintain solid waste collection facilities within the territorial <br />jurisdiction of this chapter. The provisions in the following sections shall govern the use of these <br />facilities. <br />Section 13. Limitations on use <br />The use of solid waste collection facilities shall be limited to the collection of solid waste <br />generated on or within residential premises located within the territorial jurisdiction of this chapter. <br />Recyclable materials as provided for in Article IV shall be accepted for resource recovery <br />purposes. <br />8 <br />
