E <br />C <br />BOOK 22 HGE 194 <br />10,000 signatures from the 2004 Citizens Against Drugs community organization asking for <br />additional deputies. Upon a vote of Commissioner Shook's motion, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Paschal, Quiggle and Shook <br />Nay: Brown, Kelly, Lemmond, and Reives <br />The Chairman ruled the motion failed with a four to three vote. <br />After further discussion, Commissioner Lemmond moved to amend the Sheriff's <br />Department budget to allow the Sheriff to make use of the five (5) positions recommend by the <br />County Manager in any combination he chooses and to approve additional funding if required. <br />Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Brown, Kelly, Lemmond, Paschal, Quiggle, Reives, and Shook <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Commissioner Reives moved to approve the FY 2008-09 Budget Ordinance, a copy of <br />which is attached to these minutes and by this reference made a part hereof. Upon a vote, the <br />results were as follows: <br />Aye: Brown, Kelly, Lemmond, Paschal, and Reives <br />Nay: Quiggle and Shook <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted by a five to two vote. <br />With no further business to come before the Board, Chairman Brown adjourned the <br />meeting at 6:20 p.m. <br />pvqt~l obR ert H.
