5rr 10 73 <br />0 <br />The advertisement for the public hearings shall <br />provide citizens with the time, place, and purpose <br />of the public hearing. It shall also contain <br />information concerning the amount of funds available <br />for proposed community development and housing <br />activities, the range of activities that may be <br />undertaken, and important program requirements. <br />All citizens are invited to these hearings and <br />anyone is able to be heard on what they feel are <br />Lee County's Housing and Community needs. <br />is <br />Public hearings for other Community Development <br />program requirements (e.g. environmental reviews, <br />equal opportunity, property acquisition, relocation, <br />etc.) shall be provided by the County through its <br />Office of Community Development. All public hearings <br />will conform to the below requirements. <br />C. Minimum Public Hearing Requirements: <br />Single Purpose <br />Preapplication Stage - 2 public hearings required. <br />(1 during planning stages; <br />1 prior to submission to HUD) <br />Full Application Stage- 2 public hearings required. <br />(1 during planning, or preparation <br />of application, 1 prior to <br />submission to HUD) <br />Amendments <br />(Requiring HUD approval)- 2 public hearings required. <br />(1 in the formative stage of <br />® <br />the amendment to consider the <br />merits of the change; 1 when <br />10% or more of project fund is <br />to be transferred to other line <br />item; 1 when amendment is ready <br />for submission to HUD) <br />
