gal, 10 MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS FOR THE COUNTY OF LEE, NORTH CAROLINA Tuesday, April 21st, 1981 The regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners for the County of Lee, State of North Carolina, convened in the Commissioners Room in the County Office Building, 200 Wicker Street, Sanford, North Carolina, at 7 o'clock p. m. , on Tuesday, April 21, 1981, Those present were Commissioners John E. Dotterer, Jack D. Funderburke, K. S. Harmon, Lila P. Nielsen and Gordon A. Wicker. Chair- man K. S. Harmon presided and the following business was transacted: The Reverend David Early of the First Baptist Church, Sanford, North Carolina, gave the invocation. The minutes of the meetings held on March 20, 1981 and April 6, 1981, were approved and ordered recorded, upon motion of Commissioner John E. Dotterer, seconded by Commissioner Gordon A. Wicker, which motion was unanimous- ly adopted upon a vote. The petition for the addition of roads in the subdivision known as "Tramway West',' was presented to the Board. Commissioner Gordon A. Wicker moved the adoption of the resolution requesting the addition of said roads to the State System, a copy of which resolution is attached to these minutes and by this reference made a part hereof. At the request of Commissioner Wicker, the Clerk read a letter of Mr. Fred H. Beck, Sr. , Division Engineer, to Mr. Morgan E. Brown, concerning the request of the addition of roads in Quail Ridge Subdivision, to the Board. Mrs. Max Matthews, Chairman of the Lee County Planning Board, appeared before the Board and presented two matters for consideration. The Planning Board requested approval of a subdivision plat of the lands of Margaret Buchanan, which involved a lot transfer to George Wayne Stone. Commissioner Jack D. Funderburke moved that the plat be approved and the Chairman be authorized to execute the approp- riate certificate. Commissioner Lila P. Nielsen seconded the motion and upon a vote it was unanimously adopted. Mrs. Matthews then recommended approval to be given to a subdivision known as "Longstreet Acres", in Cape Fear Township. Commissioner John E. Dotterer moved that the plat be approved and the Chairman be authorized to execute the appropriate certificate. Commissioner Gordon A. Wicker seconded the motion and upon a vote it was unanimously adopted.
