coos 10 P; cr 179 <br />-3- <br />individuals and families, are not generally less,desirable in regard to <br />public utilities and public commercial facilities than the dwellings of <br />the displaced individuals and families in the area comprising the .1980- <br />81 Program Year Area, are available at rents or prices within the finan- <br />cial means of the displaced individuals and families, and are reasonably <br />accessible to their places of employment. <br />8. That in order to implement and facilitate the effectuation of the <br />Redevelopment Plan hereby approved, it is found and determined that <br />certain official action may need to be taken by this Body with re- <br />ference, among other things, to the vacating and removal of streets, <br />alleys, and other public ways, the establishment of new street patterns, <br />and other public action, and accordingly, this Body hereby (a) pledges <br />its cooperation in helping to carry out the Redevelopment Plan, (b) re- <br />quests the various officials, departments, boards, and agencies of the <br />Locality having administrative responsibilities in the premises likewise <br />to cooperate to such end and to exercise their respective functions and <br />powers in a manner consistent with the Redevelopment Plan, and (c) <br />stands ready to consider to take appropriate action upon proposals and <br />measures designed to effectuate the Redevelopment Plan. <br />9. That financial assistance under the provisions of Title I of the <br />Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, as amended, is necessary <br />to enable the land in the area comprising the program to be renewed <br />in accordance with the Redevelopment Plan for the Program, and accord- <br />ingly, the proposed 1980-81 Program and the financing plan for the 1980- <br />81 Program Year is approved. <br />Adopted this 20th day of July 1981 <br />[ Chairman <br />Lee Cou -y Board of Commissioners <br />h R.
