0 BOOK 1o 290 <br />The County Manager reported that when the Group Home was re- <br />located at the County building near the hospital they purchased a new stove and <br />therefore the County had a surplus old stove of negligible value. The Board moved <br />that the previous action taken to advertise for the sale of motor vehicles be rescinded <br />and that the proposed advertising of such sale be stopped and that the County Manager <br />and County Attorney prepare a new resolution embracing all of the surplus property <br />available for sale at this time. <br />There was a discussion about the availability of the generator at <br />the old hospital site but no formal action was taken. <br />There was a discussion about the Central Carolina Technical <br />College proposal for the nursing program in the old hospital but no formal action <br />was taken. <br />Commissioner Gordon A. Wicker presented for the Board's consid- <br />eration, a Hazardous Waste and Low-Level Radioactive Waste Management Facility <br />180 Day Moratorium Ordinance. The Ordinance was read at length and discussed, <br />following which Commissioner John E. Dotterer moved that the Lee County Hazardous <br />Waste Management Facility 180 Day Moratorium Ordinance, a copy of which is <br />attached hereto, be adopted. Commissioner Jack D. Wicker brought up for consideration, <br />the policy adopted by the State where public employees pay a fee when the public <br />vehicle is used as a means of conveyance to the employee's home. No formal <br />action was taken on such a program at this time. <br />Upon motion of Commissioner Gordon A. Wicker, seconded by <br />Commissioner John E.
