vC 0) --.)- - q- I <br />LEE COUNTY <br />Committed Today for a Better Tomorrow <br />LEE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />RESOLUTION <br />HONORING COMMISSIONER <br />LINDA A. SHOOK <br />WHEREAS, Linda Shook was sworn into office as a member of the Lee County Board <br />of Commissioners in December 2006 representing District; and <br />WHEREAS, Linda was elected Chairman of the Board of Commissioners in December <br />2010 and 2011; and <br />WHEREAS, Linda served in several leadership positions during her tenure, including <br />serving on the Lee County Fire Advisory Board, Social Services Board, Triangle J <br />Council of Governments, and Sandhills Mental Health Board; and <br />WHEREAS, Linda has demonstrated a deep commitment to her position as a County <br />Commissioner and to the citizens of Lee County; and <br />WHEREAS, her service has been marked by her dedication to the best interest of the <br />community, and she has worked constantly for the betterment of Lee County citizens. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Lee County Board of Commissioners <br />does hereby express its sincere appreciation to Linda A.
