Motion: Motion to approve the proposed LIDO text amendment because the <br /> proposed text amendment appears to be reasonable and in the public interest <br /> since it will help mobile food vendors and better enforce regulations relating to <br /> public health and food safety with amendments to the following provisions to <br /> remove the requirement for a permit: 5.45.3.1 - 5.45.3.2. <br /> Mover: Dr. Andre Knecht <br /> For: 5 - Dr. Andre Knecht, Robert Reives, Kirk Smith, Bill Carver, Taylor Vorbeck <br /> Abstain: 2 - Cameron Sharpe, Mark Lovick <br /> Motion Result: Passed <br /> Motion: Motion that the proposed text amendment is consistent with the <br /> Plan SanLee long range plan because the proposed text amendment more <br /> accurately reflects the commercial uses envisioned in the plan. <br /> Mover: Taylor Vorbeck <br /> For: 5 - Dr. Andre Knecht, Robert Reives, Kirk Smith, Bill Carver, Taylor Vorbeck <br /> Abstain: 2 - Cameron Sharpe, Mark Lovick <br /> Motion Result: Passed <br /> IV.D UDO Text Amendment for Food Truck Park <br /> The Lee County Planning Board met on March 20th after the public hearing was <br /> held and recommended by a unanimous vote that the Lee County Board of <br /> Commissioners approve the proposed text amendment with noted revisions for the <br /> Unified Development Ordinance, Table 4.6-1 Permitted Use Matrix to add the land <br /> use category "Food Truck Park"under "General Sales or Service" within the use of <br /> the Permitted Use Matrix and make the proposed use permitted within the General <br /> Commercial (C-2) and Highway Commercial (HC) zoning districts, subject to <br /> supplemental development standards added to Article 5. Changes were made to the <br /> original proposed amendment to reflect concerns of the Commissioners expressed <br /> during the public hearing process. Commissioner Vorbeck also requested a <br /> modification to Section 5.45.9 to add the reference that required parking spaces are <br /> for customers.
