HAL OWEN & ASSOCIATES, INC.
that 90 to 120 feet of conventional drainline would be required for the initial system per bedroom
in the home for these provisionally suitable areas.
Lots 2-6, 11, 16, 19, and 20 may have to utilize soils rated as provisionally suitable for
low profile chamber for their septic systems. Soils rated as provisionally suitable for Low Profile
Chamber systems (LPC) are rated so due to useable soil depth being less than 24 inches below
the ground surface. LPC systems do not receive the length reduction that regular chamber or
other accepted status systems receive, and it should be expected that 120 to 150 feet of LPC
drainline would be required for the initial system per bedroom in the home.
Lots 8-10, and 18 do not contain enough useable soil for septic and will have to utilize
supply line easements to the allotted areas in the southeastern corner of the property for their
respective septic systems. The unsuitable soil area is so rated due to inadequate soil depth to
excessive soil wetness conditions, unsuitable landscape position, and or inadequacy of soil
properties such as texture, structure, and/or plasticity. The ability to utilize alternative systems
or make modifications to this area to allow for septic systems is minimal. Some of this area will
likely support building foundations, and homes could be sited in this area. Utilization of pump
type conventional systems will allow unsuitable soils to make up part of the lot area. Septic
systems that utilize pumps to conventional drainlines are recommended if you wish to locate
homes on unsuitable soils and attempt to maximize the usable portion of the property.
Due to the texture and typically shallower depths of many soil areas on the property it is
recommended to take care when removing trees and stumps. The impact of heavy machinery on
these fragile soils may make certain areas become no longer useable for septic.
We appreciate the opportunity to provide this service and hope to be allowed to assist you
again in the future. If you have any questions or need additional information, please contact us
at your convenience.
Sincerely,
SOIL
SC/
o -
14,E
Q `'Aauri a
Steven E.
