1/25/2023 <br /> Projected Estimates of Newly <br /> Eligible Beneficiaries <br /> • State estimates by year 1 of expansion there wilt be 3,817 newly eligible <br /> individuals in Lee County. <br /> • After full implementation, 4,906 total newly eligible individuals. <br /> • Of the total 4,906 newly eligible, it is estimated that approximately 1,911 <br /> of these individuals are currently receiving limited service Medicaid or <br /> Family Planning only coverage. <br /> • Have not been provided estimates of how many of these individuals are <br /> receiving Medicaid COVID coverage. <br /> • Lee County is projecting a 16%increase in newly eligible individuals should <br /> expansion pass. <br /> Administrative Costs Related to Expansion <br /> • Lee County projects needing 4 workers due to increased caseloads. <br /> These positions include 1 IMC I, 2 IMC Its and 1 IMC III Lead worker. <br /> • Administrative expenses are estimated at approximately $232,977 for <br /> administrative costs related to salaries, benefits, capital such as desks, <br /> etc. <br /> • It is estimated these expenses will generate approximately$214,458 in <br /> federal and state reimbursement. <br /> • The county cost is estimated at approximately $18,519 or roughly 8% <br /> total expenditures due to cost allocation. <br />
