P -2 <br />PAGE 11 OF 12 <br />APPENDIX A <br />PAGE 5OF6 <br />Raleigh: Monday, March 18, 2013, at 1:00 p.m. in Commission <br />Hearing Room 2115, Dobbs Building, 430 North Salisbury <br />Street <br />The hearings on February 19, 20, 26, 27, and March 5, 2013, will be for the <br />purpose of receiving the testimony of public witnesses only. The hearing will resume in <br />Raleigh on March 18, 2013, at 1:00 p.m. and continue as required for further testimony <br />of public witnesses and testimony and cross - examination of witnesses for the Company, <br />the Public Staff, and other intervenors. <br />Persons having an interest in the investigation and desiring to intervene in the <br />matter as formal parties of record may file their motions to intervene not later than <br />February 11, 2013, and in accordance with Rules R1 -5, R1 -6, R1 -7, and R1-196f the <br />Commission's Rules and Regulations. These motions should reference Docket No. E -2, <br />Sub 1023, and should be filed with the North Carolina Utilities Commission, 4325 Mail <br />Service Center, Raleigh, North Carolina 27699 -4325. All parties to this proceeding <br />planning to present testimony must prefile their testimony and exhibits not later than <br />February 18, 2013. <br />The Public Staff of the Utilities Commission, through the Executive Director, is <br />required by statute to represent the using and consuming public in proceedings before <br />the Commission. Statements to the Executive Director should be addressed to: <br />Mr. Robert P.
