E. <br />_ Information <br />Meeting Date: November 19, 2012 Action Item <br />XX Consent Agenda <br />SUBJECT FY 2013/14 Community Transportation Grant <br />DEPARTMENT Lee County Senior Services <br />CONTACT PERSON Debbie Davidson <br />REQUEST FY 2013/14 Community Transportation Grant <br />SUMMARY Senior Services is asking the Board to approve the FY 2013 -14 <br />Community Transportation Grant with the following funding levels: <br />Administrative — $155,947.00 — Local Match —15% - $23,392.00 <br />These funds cover 85% of the salary for the County of Lee Transit System Coordinator, and a <br />portion of the administrative salaries of 3 other staff members and benefits, travel, general office <br />supplies, space rental, technology supplies, and indirect cost for the administration of the system. <br />Also included in this request is 85% reimbursement for vehicle insurance on 18 vehicles. <br />Capital — 4 replacement vehicles — All Lift Regular Lift Equipped with 2 wheel chair <br />stations - $180,800.00 with a 10% Local Match of $18.080.00 <br />A public hearing was held during the November 5th meeting of the Board of Commissioners with <br />one individual speaking for the grant application. <br />BUDGET IMPACT $41,472.00 <br />ATTACHMENT(S) Transportation Program Grant Application <br />PUBLIC HEARING No — Held on November 5th <br />PRIOR BOARD ACTION N/A <br />RECOMMENDATION Approve FY 2013/14 Community Transportation Grant as presented <br />
