LEE COU NTY <br />Committed Today for a Better Tomorrow <br />SPECIAL CALLED MEETING <br />OF THE <br />LEE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />FOR THE <br />COUNTY OF LEE, STATE OF NORTH CAROLIIN <br />NOVEMBER 12, 2012 <br />The special called meeting of the Lee County Board o orn sioners for the County of Lee, <br />State of North Carolina, convened at 4 p.m. in the Comm' ' ers' ,m, Lee County Government <br />Center, First Floor, 106 Hillcrest Drive, Sanford, North Carotin te. Commissioners present <br />were Richard B. Hayes, Larry "Doc" Oldham, Charles T. Parks, an E. Paschal, Linda A. Shook, <br />and James K. Womack. Commissioner Robert T. Reives was abs Ot er staff in attendance was <br />County Manager John Crumpton, Human Resource Director Joyce M ee, and Clerk to the Board <br />Gaynell Lee. <br />Chairman Shook called the meeting to <br />Commissioner Parks moved to go into cl sessioto consider a personnel matter per N.C. <br />General Statute § 143- 318.11(a) (6). Upon a vote; a results were as follows: <br />y <br />Aye: Haye ham, Parks, Pas J Shook, and Womack <br />Nay: N <br />Absent: ves <br />A dd/ <br />The Chairman rule 01 been adopted unanimously and the Board was in closed <br />session. Upon returning from ed session, with all members present except Commissioner Reives <br />and Commissioner Womack, the ' g resumed. <br />missy Idham moved to offer the Lee County Attorney's position to Ms. Kerry Schmid <br />conti nt upon a b round check and drug testing. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: ayes, Oldham, Parks, Paschal, and Shook <br />ay: None <br />�s Reives and Womack <br />The Ch irman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />With no further business to come before the Board, Commissioner Parks moved to adjourn the <br />meeting.
