OLD BUSINESS <br /> V.A Adoption of the 2023 Reappraisal - Schedules, Standards and Rules <br /> Tax Administrator Michael Brown asked the Board to adopt the 2023 Reappraisal <br /> - Schedules, Standards and Rules. In preparation for the 2023 reappraisal, NCGS <br /> 105-317, requires a presentation of the schedules and public hearing regarding <br /> the schedules, standards and rules for market value and present-use value to be <br /> presented to the Board. The presentation was made on October 17. The public <br /> hearing was held on November 14. The Tax Office requests that the schedules be <br /> adopted today. A copy of the schedules will be open for examination in the Tax <br /> Administration Office as well as the two public libraries, in Sanford and Broadway. <br /> The Tax Office placed a notice in a local newspaper for four consecutive weeks <br /> as required by law.
