IMAM <br /> RESOLUTION HONORING RETIRING COMMISSIONER AND VICE-CHAIR <br /> ARIANNA LAVALLEE <br /> WHEREAS,Arianna Lavallee was elected to the Lee County Board of Commissioners for District <br /> 4 on November 6, 2018; and <br /> WHEREAS, Commissioner Lavallee became the youngest Commissioner in the State of North <br /> Carolina elected in 2018 and has served as Vice-Chair from December 2020 through December <br /> 2022; and <br /> WHEREAS, she served on the Johnston-Lee-Harnett Community Action Board, Juvenile Crime <br /> Prevention, Lee County Partnership for Children and Families, Interlocal Committee with Sanford <br /> City, and as an Alternate Delegate on the Triangle-J Council of Governments; and <br /> WHEREAS, Commissioner Lavallee participated in the Lee County Young Commissioners 4-H <br /> Program contributing her knowledge and talents to our rising young leaders and has taught 4th and <br /> 5th graders at Life Springs Church Kids Ministry for two years; and <br /> WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Lee County Board of Commissioners to recognize the <br /> achievements of Vice-Chair, Commissioner Arianna Lavallee and to express appreciation to her <br /> for her dedicated service and many contributions to Lee County; and <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Lee County Board of Commissioners that it <br /> congratulates Vice-Chair, Commissioner Arianna Lavallee for a career in public service and a <br /> genuine interest in and concern for Lee County and it wishes for Commissioner Lavallee continued <br /> success in all her future endeavors, for both her and her family. <br /> AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be spread upon the Minutes <br /> of the meeting of the Board and a copy be presented to Vice-Chair Commissioner Lavallee. <br /> Presented this 14t'day of November, 2022.
