5. Lee County will purchase the six devices to be utilized by FirstHealth until either <br /> the franchise agreement term ends, or at the end of the life of the device, whichever <br /> occurs first. <br /> 6. If,when the franchise agreement terminates, FirstHealth still has active devices in <br /> use on its ambulances, the devices will be returned to Lee County, as Lee County will <br /> maintain ownership of the device throughout the term of the agreement or until the <br /> useful life of the device expires. <br /> 7. Lee County has full discretion to determine if a device has reached the end of its <br /> useful life. If any device reaches its useful life and FirstHealth is still providing <br /> services under its franchise agreement, Lee County is under no obligation to replace <br /> said device. <br /> S. FirstHealth will ensure the following conditions are met. <br /> A. FirstHealth will make each device available to Lee County Government <br /> for inventory at least once annually, and will provide the device for <br /> inspection at any time during the term of the franchise agreement. <br /> B. The Lee County Emergency Medical Services Division of FirstHealth will <br /> be responsible for providing device training to all Emergency Medical <br /> Services Personnel. <br /> C. The Lee County Emergency Medical Services Division will be responsible <br /> for providing training to Lee County Emergency Responders who assist <br /> with calls through the First Responder program. <br /> D. FirstHealth of the Carolinas will complete all required maintenance and <br /> repair to the devices based on best practices and when available,vendor <br /> recommended maintenance schedule and protocols. <br /> E. FirstHealth of the Carolinas will repair and/or replace the device if <br /> damaged or destroyed for so long as FirstHealth is responsible for <br /> maintaining accountability for each device. <br /> F. FirstHealth will provide all required single use supplies necessary to <br /> support the use of the device. <br />
