Motion: Motion to approve the Tribute Proclamation Honoring Nilla "Dicke" <br /> Sloop as presented. <br /> Mover: Dr. Andre Knecht <br /> For: 7 - Arianna Lavallee, Dr. Andre Knecht, Robert Reives, Cameron Sharpe, Kirk <br /> Smith, Bill Carver, Mark Lovick <br /> Motion Result: Passed <br /> 111.13 Proclamation Honoring Donald Andrews and His Years of Service on the Lee County <br /> Fire Advisory Board <br /> Chairman Smith, accompanied by Emergency Management Director Matt Britt, <br /> presented a proclamation and statue honoring Donald Andrews and his years of <br /> service on the Lee County Fire Advisory Board. Donald Andrews accepted the <br /> proclamation, a copy of which is attached and incorporated into these minutes. <br /> Motion: Motion to approve the "Proclamation Honoring Donald Andrews and <br /> His Years of Service on the Lee County Fire Advisory Board" as presented. <br /> Mover: Arianna Lavallee <br /> For: 7 - Arianna Lavallee, Dr. Andre Knecht, Robert Reives, Cameron Sharpe, Kirk <br /> Smith, Bill Carver, Mark Lovick <br /> Motion Result: Passed <br /> IV. PUBLIC HEARING <br /> IV.A Zoning Map Amendment (Rezoning) Application and Staff Report <br /> Planning Administrator Amy McNeill introduced Curtis Lee to the Board and said <br /> future staff presentations will come from him. Street Dog Properties, LLC is <br /> requesting to rezone 4.45 acres consisting of four parcels of land addressed as 3224 <br /> and 3226 Hawkins Ave from Residential Agricultural (RA) to Highway Commercial <br /> (HC) to allow the installation of a self-standing ice vending machine on the subject <br /> property. Therefore, Street Dog Properties, LLC has submitted this Zoning Map <br /> Amendment Application for the Board's consideration. This is a standard general use <br /> rezoning request, as opposed to a conditional rezoning request, therefore, no site <br /> plan nor subdivision plans nor building plans are required as part of the rezoning <br /> request. Commissioner Reives asked if this was included in the opportunity zone. <br /> Staff indicated that they do not typically research whether property is located in the <br /> opportunity zone. It is located just north of the two traffic circles,just past the <br /> convenience store. <br /> Chairman Smith opened the public hearing at 6:21 pm. <br /> One spoke in favor of the request: <br /> -Albert Adcock, 1414 Golden Circle (owner of the property) <br /> No one spoke in opposition. <br /> Chairman Smith closed the public hearing at 6:23pm. <br /> 00-Rez@3224 Hawkins Ave-BINDER.pdf <br /> V.
