Addition to ARPA Funding-Supporting Matching Grant: Note: No impact on General Fund Budget <br /> Health—Health Wellness Program $ 150,000 <br /> As a reminder,the departments appearing before the Commissioners on Friday, May 20, 2022 are: <br /> Senior Services, Colts <br /> Social Services <br /> Health <br /> Library <br /> Parks and Recreation <br /> On Monday, May 23, 2002 the following agencies/offices will appear before the Board: <br /> Lee County Board of Education <br /> Central Carolina Community College <br /> Office of the Sheriff <br /> County Staff discussing the joint City/County departments <br /> Attached is a section from the School of Government's book titled "County Government in North <br /> Carolina". This section covers the eight(8)areas of financial responsibility that the North Carolina <br /> Legislature has placed on counties when it comes to school funding. With some questions I have <br /> received recently concerning the County's responsibilities, I thought I would send this out to the <br /> Commissioners for your reference. <br /> Again, I look forward to the remaining meetings we will have on the budget.
