V.E Historic Courthouse Project Administration Contract with Triangle J Council of <br /> Governments <br /> Development Services Director Santiago Giraldo recommended approval of the <br /> Construction Administration Contract between Lee County and Triangle J Council of <br /> Governments to ensure compliance with grant guidelines and requirements. On <br /> January 14, 2021, Lee County was awarded a grant from the Historical Preservation <br /> Fund to conduct repairs to the Historic Courthouse located at 1400 S. Homer <br /> Boulevard as a result of Hurricanes Florence and Michael. The grant amount is <br /> $873,749, to be matched with $53,036 in non-federal funds. For the purpose of <br /> providing funds for carrying out the contract, Lee County will pay the Council an <br /> administrative fee of 7.5%, which has been included in the final approved project <br /> budget and is included in the overall grant amount. The technical assistance fee will be <br /> billed on a quarterly basis.
