IV.0 Zoning Map Amendment (Rezoning) Application and Staff Report
<br />Planning Administrator Amy McNeil presented a rezoning application from J.
<br />Thomas Engineering, Inc. to rezone a 216.18 acre vacant parcel off of Buckhorn
<br />Road from Residential Agriculture (RA) to Residential Restricted Conditional Zoning
<br />District (RR -C) to allow the development of a residential single family home
<br />subdivision with a minimum lot size of 30, 000 square feet as per the design
<br />illustrated in the rezoning application. The property is owned by J.B. Wilkinson
<br />Estate and is identified as Tax Parcel 9693-74-3964-00 as depicted on Lee County
<br />Tax Map 9693. The conceptual plan and any proposed conditions are required as
<br />part of the proposed rezoning. The long-range plan identifies the property as
<br />countryside. The request from RA to RR -C would allow for a developer to go from a
<br />40, 000 square foot lot size to 30, 000 square foot.

<br />VI.A CSLFRF Grant Project Ordinance Amendment #3
<br />Assistant County Manager/Finance Director Lisa Minter provided a summary of
<br />Amendment 3 to the CSLFRF Grant Project. On January 24, 2022, the Board of
<br />Commissioners voted to select the $10 million standard allowance that is offered in
<br />the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021: Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal
<br />Recovery Final Rule. The amendment allocates $8 million of the $10 million to cover
