COUNTY OF LEE, NORTH CAROLINA <br />GRANT PROJECT ORDINANCE FOR <br />CORONAVIRUS STATE AND LOCAL FISCAL RECOVERY FUNDS <br />AMENDMENT # 3 <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Lee County Board of Commissioners that pursuant to Section 13.2 of <br />Chapter 159 of the General Statutes of North Carolina, the grant project ordinance for Coronavirus <br />State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds is hereby amended: <br />Section 1: The Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds of H.R. 1319 American <br />Rescue Plan Act of 2021 (CSLFRF) may be used for the following categories of expenditures, to <br />the extent authorized by state law. <br />1. To respond to the public health emergency or its negative economic impacts, including <br />assistance to households, small businesses, and nonprofits, or aid to impacted industries <br />such as tourism, travel, and hospitality; <br />2. To respond to workers performing essential work during the COVID-19 public health <br />emergency by providing premium pay to eligible workers; <br />3. For the provision of government services to the extent of the reduction in revenue due to the <br />COVID-19 public health emergency relative to revenues collected in the most recent full <br />fiscal year prior to the emergency; and <br />4.
