Budget Ordinance, Fiscal Year 2022-23 <br /> Lee County, North Carolina <br /> June 6, 2022 <br /> Page 5 <br /> g. All solid waste or recyclables entering the landfill site or transfer station, except tires, shall <br /> be weighed. <br /> h. Yard waste and land clearing debris may be deposited at the specially designated area at <br /> the Lee County landfill site for a fee of forty-three dollars ($43.00) per ton. <br /> i. Scrap tires may be disposed of without charge at the Lee County Landfill Road Convenience <br /> Center only provided such tires meet criteria established under the Scrap Tire Policy for Lee <br /> County, NC. A fee of seventy-five ($75.00) per ton will be charged for: <br /> 1. Five or more tires not accompanied by a completed scrap tire certification form. <br /> 2. Manufacturer's reject tires for which advance disposal fees have not been paid. <br /> 3. Tires mounted on rims. <br /> 4. Tires generated outside the state of North Carolina. <br /> SECTION 9. The following amounts are hereby appropriated in the Emergency <br /> Telephone System Fund for the Fiscal Year beginning July 1, 2022 and ending June 30, 2023: <br /> E-911 Communications $ 400,260 <br /> SECTION 10. It is estimated that the following revenue will be available to the <br /> Emergency Telephone System Fund for the Fiscal Year beginning July 1, 2022 and ending June <br /> 30, 2023: <br /> E-911 Surcharge $ 271,170 <br /> Fund Balance Appropriated 129,090 <br /> TOTAL REVENUES $ 400,260 <br /> SECTION 11. The following amounts are hereby appropriated in the Airport Tax <br /> Revenue Fund for the Fiscal Year beginning July 1, 2022 and ending on June 30, 2023: <br /> Airport Operations $ 55,000 <br /> SECTION 12. It is estimated that the following revenue will be available to the Airport <br /> Tax Revenue Fund for the Fiscal Year beginning July 1, 2022 and ending on June 30, 2023: <br /> Ad Valorem Taxes $ 55,000 <br /> SECTION 13. The following amounts are hereby appropriated in the Representative <br /> Payee Fund for the Fiscal Year beginning July 1, 2022 and ending on June 30, 2023: <br /> Representative Payee Expenses $ 300,000 <br />
