Scope of Services - San-Lee Park Trail Proposal No - A) - Build new trail connector (3' or 6' wide) from lower parking lot along road uphill to the beginning of existing intermediate cross country trail. Yes - B) - Build a new beginner mtb trail loop (4' wide) with two entrances & exits. One from the lower parking lot & one from the mtb parking lot. - $22,500.00 The trail design has not been done yet & may require the construction of a new bridge or two depending on the design & the state of the current bridges in that area. I can let you know specifics on this within a week of getting a go ahead on this. Yes - C) - Build new hiking trail (3' wide) (C1) from lower parking lot across the existing hike bridge near the playground & into the woods below the pump track, then cross the road to the mtb parking lot & then new trail (C2) between the camping area and the lake until the wooden steps are reached above the existing "hiking" bridge. - If B) & D) are done, then part of the hiking trail will have to go away and that will mean that (C1) will need to be built to have a connected loop on the hiking trail, while (C2) is optional. (C1) - $8,000.00 & (C2) - $9,000.00 if done with (C1) & $10,500.00 if done later Yes - D) - Build a new two way connector trail (6' wide) from the MTB parking lot to the lower gathering area of the gravity park. Requires a new bridge over the creek below the gravity park gathering area. $10,750.00 for trail & 6' wide x 24' long wood Bridge with handrails. Add $3,950.00 to build a 3' wide by 24' long wood Bridge with handrails to replace the existing hiking bridge next to the new mountain bike bridge. The current wood step/bridge that is taking hikers over the rocks near the current hiking bridge over the creek, needs to be removed as it is rotten & in poor structural shape. We will remove at no charge if it is done with the hiking bridge & we can price a replacement after we see everything opened up. It should be a maximum of around $5,000.00, maybe less. Any Bridges we build come with a limited 10 Warranty. See below No - E) - Rebuild hiking trail around both lakes. This area also needs new bridges & fishing decks to replace old ones. On the South side, a new hiking trail could be built below the existing MTB Trail in order to close the hiking trail that is currently mixed in with the existing MTB trail. Yes - F) - Move existing mtb trail from non park property in 6 different places. This means we will build new trail to keep trail users on Lee County Park property & off of private property. We will make the old trail "disappear" where the new trail connects with the existing usable trail, but we will not make all the old & now unused trail that is on private property go away.
