OLD BUSINESS IV.A Approval of local incentive agreement for Project Frame County Attorney Whitney Parrish provided a summary of Project Frame. Project Frame is a building products manufacturing project, which consists of building and construction and the purchase of machinery and equipment in the amount of at least $18,000,000 in net new taxable investment. Lee County intends to share up to $275,595 of the cost of the project with revenues from the County's General Fund over the five-year life of the project. The project is estimated to create at least 235 net new jobs with an average annual wage of$50,720 over the five-year length of the project. The Board held a public hearing on the proposed economic development incentive for Project Frame on September 8, 2021. Two people spoke in favor of the proposed project and one person spoke against. The Board approved a resolution outlining the parameters of the project on October 4, 2021.
