BK:00025 PG:0023 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP <br />OF LEE COUNTY, NORTH CAROLINA <br />WHEREAS, a request to amend the Official Zoning Map has been received from Boatmen <br />Properties, LLC (PB File #2012 -0601) to rezone a 1.13 -acre portion of Lee County Tax Parcel <br />9630 -39 -0292 located at 2711 Jefferson Davis Highway from Residential Agricultural (RA) to <br />Highway Commercial (HC); and <br />WHEREAS, said request has been presented to the Lee County Planning Board; and <br />WHEREAS, the Lee County Board of Commissioners conducted a public hearing on June 18, <br />2012 to receive citizen input on the requested zoning map amendment; and <br />WHEREAS, the Lee County Board of Commissioners approves the request to amend the <br />Official Zoning Map of Lee County, North Carolina; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEE COUNTY BOARD OF <br />COMMISSIONERS: <br />The Official Zoning Map is hereby amended to rezone 1.13 -acres of land located at 2711 <br />Jefferson Davis Highway from Residential Agricultural (RA) district to Highway Commercial <br />(HC) district. The property is the same as depicted on Tax Map 9630.01, a portion of Tax Parcel <br />9630 -39 -0292, Lee County Land Records. It is also the same as that 1.13 -acre tract combined <br />with a 2.65 -acre tract on a plat entitled "Survey for Boatmen Properties, LLC," dated 12/4/2007, <br />recorded in Plat Cabinet 2007, Slide 264, Lee County Registry of Deeds.
