<br /> b. For cross-training Registered Environmental Health Specialists (REHS) attending CIT sessions,
<br /> reimbursement amounts are based on the session attended:

<br /> 2) Child Care & School Sanitation—$62
<br /> 3) On-site Water Protection— $450
<br /> 4) Private Drinking Water Wells—$62

<br /> c. A one-time mileage allocation per two REHSs from the same county per training session is
<br /> based on one of the four geographical areas in which they are employed.

<br /> D. Purchases
<br /> 1. Equipment is a type of fixed asset consisting of specific items of property that: (1) is tangible in
<br /> nature; (2) has a life longer than one year; and (3) has a significant value.
<br /> a. For Inventory Purposes:
<br /> 1) Equipment must be accounted for in accordance with guidance published by the
<br /> Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) for capital assets.
<br /> 2) All equipment with an acquisition cost of$500 or more that was purchased with Women,
<br /> Infants and Children (WIC) Program Funds prior to January 1, 2018 will be inventoried with
<br /> the Nutrition Services Branch. The Local Agency is responsible for assigning a fixed asset
<br /> number and applying a fixed asset tag to equipment purchased by the Local Agency, using
<br /> WIC funds, after January 1, 2018. Within 60 days of the purchase, the Local Agency will
<br /> provide to the Nutrition Services Branch a written report of the purchase, including a
<br /> description of the item purchased, serial number, fixed asset tag number, and a copy of the
<br /> bill of sale.
