PUBLIC HEARING <br /> IIIA Hold a public hearing for an economic development project to lease space from <br /> Lee County Growth V, for a spec building located in Central Carolina Enterprise <br /> Park <br /> On March 15, 2021, the County held a public hearing to expend money to lease <br /> space at Central Carolina Enterprise Park in the amount of$325,000 over the 24 <br /> months of the lease. The City of Sanford, Lee County, Sanford Area Growth <br /> Alliance and Growth One V LLC entered into a Memorandum of Understanding in <br /> which the spec building at Central Carolina Enterprise Park would be used to <br /> market Lee County and the City of Sanford to entice new companies to locate <br /> and create jobs within our community. The County has been asked to increase <br /> the lease amount due to increased construction costs since the MOU was <br /> passed. Notice of the public hearing ran in the Sanford Herald on January 27, <br /> 2022.
