0 goON 10 ;,cf: 31 0. <br />Representatives from the Tempting Community appeared before <br />the Board as scheduled, to discuss water and sewer problems in that community. <br />The community representatives requested that consideration of their request be <br />deferred until the December 21st, 1981 meeting due,to their inability to notify <br />the members of the community of the scheduled meeting. <br />The Board took up and discussed the matter of a Domicilary <br />Home Advisory Committee, but no formal action was taken. <br />The recommendations of the Ambulance Advisory Committee <br />were presented to the Board. <br />After discussion and review, Commissioner John E. Dotterer <br />moved that the recommendations of the Ambulance Advisory Committee, as set <br />out in their report dated November 13, 1981, a copy of which is attached to these <br />minutes and by this reference made a part hereof, be approved as a part of the <br />County's Ambulance Policy. Commissioner Jack D. Funderburke seconded the <br />motion and upon a vote it. was unanimously adopted. <br />The Board next reviewed and discussed the departmental reports <br />received and the bills list. <br />Upon motion of Commissioner Gordon A. Wicker, seconded by <br />Commissioner Jack D. Funderburke, which motion was unanimously adopted upon <br />a vote, it was RESOLVED to expend the sum of $80. 00 for radio advertising and <br />promotion of Farm-City Week and the County Manager was authorized to make the <br />appropriate budget adjustment for such purpose. <br />The Personnel Policy as drafted by the County Manager was reviewed <br />through Article IV. <br />The Board next discussed hazardous waste sites and the alternatives <br />open to the County in trying to protect the health and safety of the citizens in the <br />C ounty. <br />The Board ordered that the letter directed to the County Manager <br />outlining the terms of his employment, which letter is dated October 30, 1980, a <br />copy of which is attached to these minutes, be made a part of these minutes for the <br />purpose of making official recording of such communication. <br />There being no further busines ~bme before the session, it <br />was adjourned sine die. / / <br />CHAIRMAN <br />C <br />
